1st Season 2004 Intro Movie



This is the legendary announcement movie for the 1st Mastersleague Season in November 2004. No other then KRG_4Stars is responsible for this unmatched masterpeace. Though he did support MoR with other outstanding intros in the following season, this might arguably be his best piece.

Although it came a few days after the official launch of the site (4Stars was late Wink ) it was the first thing for most users to see of Mastersleague.

Funny side note: When you scroll to the bottom of the full size intro you will notice that the "skip intro" link points to the original location of the Mastersleague website. Back then no one of us could really afford to place the site on its own server with its own url (the address "Mastersleague.net" came quite a bit later). The url shown in the intro is _FSF_[NL]Fedomar's university server and the space they gave him for his researches ;). After only a short time we had been kicked from the uni-server due to causing too much traffic. This kick came at the worst of possible times: right before the 2nd match day of the 1st season. In a panic-reaction and quite a few night-shifts I had compiled a simple html site to keep track of the results and standings (For this I had rented the new mastersleague url. But the change wasn't supposed to happen anytime soon and we were caught completely unprepared). We had feared that this incident would kill the whole project before it had actually been born. Luckily most of the members stayed loyal until everything was in place again :).

Only later we found out that the kick didn't actually come out of the blue: Fedomar just forgot to check his university E-Mail where he had received many warnings and requests to keep the traffic low.... Wink
